DANGEROUS TO KNOW: Australian author Anne Buist

Natalie King is a forensic psychiatrist experiencing PTSD in the aftermath of a terrifying physical attack. She struggles against her self-imposed quiet lifestyle. It is just not her. Natalie is unpredictable, she lives her life according to her own dictates. Sometimes to the frustration of the reader. The involvement of three attractive & largely different male characters add zing to the story.

Despite her own emotional issues, she is drawn into a criminal investigation into two unexplained deaths. Viewed through the trained eye of a psychiatrist, there is greater insight into the behaviour of the other characters,

Set in Victoria – Melbourne & Lorne region, there is a nice sense of background. Anne has alternated the chapters between third & first person, which adds another dimension to an already page turning plot.

FAT BITS: Australian author Hettie Ashwin

This a raunchy romp that had me laughing out loud. Hettie has a string of books to her credit but this is my absolute favourite. Warning it is fairly sexually explicit.
